The Archaea Active™ formula

The proprietary Archaea Active™ formula is a combination of several all-natural extracts, proteins and enzymes which comprise the “biobase” involved in the manufacturing process.  The biobase is manufactured at a state-of-the-art FDA-compliant food-grade manufacturing  facility, and all ingredients are GRAS (Generally Recognized As Safe)  and/or listed on EAFUS (Everything Added to Food in the United States).  The manufacturing and micron filtration processes remove most all traces of the initial ingredients, leaving behind only picomolar levels of the Archaea Active™ formula.

Alfalfa (medicago sativa)  is a plant which sends its roots down twenty to thirty feet into the ground and brings up minerals that are not available on the surface. For this reason, the Arabic word alfalfa means “father of plants”.  Alfalfa is rich in vitamins, minerals and other nutrients that play a vital role in the strength and growth of our bones and in the maintenance of a healthy body.  It contains protein, vitamin A, vitamin B1, vitamin B6, vitamin C, vitamin E, and vitamin K.  It also contains calcium, potassium, carotene, iron, and zinc.  In fact, alfalfa is said to contain over 300 nutrients and phytonutrients.

The primary properties of alfalfa are generally considered to be anti-inflammatory, diuretic, nutritive, phytoestrogenic, and tonic. The parts of the plant typically used are flowers, leaves, and sprouts. Alfalfa has been used by the Chinese since the sixth century to treat several health conditions.

Where alfalfa grows wild, it is an indicator of rich soil. It is often planted by farmers and turned under to fix nitrogen and enrich the soil.

NATURAL ENZYMES
Enzymes are biomolecules that catalyze (i.e., increase the rates of) chemical reactions. Nearly all known enzymes are proteins. In enzymatic reactions, the molecules at the beginning of the process are called substrates, and the enzyme converts them into different molecules, called the products. Almost all processes in a biological cell need enzymes to occur at significant rates.

Since enzymes are selective for their substrates and speed up only a few reactions from among many possibilities, the set of enzymes made in a cell determines which metabolic pathways occur in that cell.

Like all catalysts, enzymes work by lowering the activation energy for a reaction, thus dramatically increasing the rate of the reaction. Most enzyme reaction rates are millions of times faster than those of comparable un-catalyzed reactions.  Enzymes differ from most other catalysts by being much more specific.

The enzymes used to speed up the biochemical reactions in the Archaea Active™ formulation are Amylase, Bromelain, Cellulase, Lactase, Lipase, Papain and Protease enzymes.  Each has a specific function in the Archaea Active™ formula.
